Creating Spaces for Healing, Belonging and Lived Experience Leadership
Founder | Community Organiser | Public Speaker | Lived Experience Leader
Maggy Moyo is the Founder of Unified Resilience C.I.C and an award-recognised community organiser based in Greater Manchester.
Drawing on her own lived experience, she has spent more than a decade working alongside refugees, people seeking asylum, migrants and local communities to create opportunities for healing, belonging and leadership. Her work is rooted in compassion, collaboration and the belief that lived experience is valuable expertise.
Before founding Unified Resilience C.I.C, Maggy led community organising and partnership work across Greater Manchester and nationally, bringing together communities, public services and organisations to strengthen inclusion, wellbeing and lived experience leadership.
Today, through Unified Resilience C.I.C, she continues that commitment by creating welcoming, trauma-informed spaces where communities can heal together, belonging grows naturally, and lived experience inspires leadership.
Unified Resilience C.I.C was founded from a vision that stronger communities are built when people are welcomed with dignity, connected through belonging and empowered to lead.
Maggy’s leadership brings together compassion, lived experience and practical community organising. Her approach is not only about providing support, but about helping people rediscover confidence, build meaningful relationships and become active contributors within their communities.
Through her work, she continues to champion community-led healing, inclusion, cultural understanding and leadership shaped by real experience.
Maggy’s work spans community organising, campaigning, storytelling, consultancy and lived experience leadership.
