Creating Spaces for Healing, Belonging and Lived Experience Leadership
Unified Resilience C.I.C is a community-led organisation creating safe, inclusive and culturally informed spaces where people from all backgrounds can heal, belong and thrive together.
We work alongside refugees, people seeking asylum, migrants, local British communities, LGBTQ+ communities and people with lived experience of displacement, exclusion and rebuilding life after difficult circumstances.
Our work is rooted in compassion, mutual support and the belief that lived experience is valuable expertise. Through healing spaces, community support, storytelling and leadership development, we help people reconnect with confidence, dignity and purpose.
Our vision is an inclusive society where everyone is treated with equal dignity and respect, can feel secure in their homes and communities, and live supported, connected and fulfilling lives.
Our mission is to create safe, inclusive and trauma-informed spaces where people heal, belong and grow into confident community leaders through mutual support, storytelling, cultural exchange and lived experience leadership.
We are guided by Ubuntu — “I am because we are.” This philosophy reminds us that our wellbeing is connected, our stories matter and stronger communities are created when people are welcomed, supported and empowered to lead.
We create spaces where everyone is treated with dignity, kindness and respect.
Everyone deserves to feel welcomed, valued and connected.
We celebrate diversity and work alongside people from all backgrounds and lived experiences.
We believe lived experience is valuable expertise and create opportunities for people to lead and influence change.
